Von Duprin's CHEXIT is a delayed egress exit device, featuring a surface vertical rod and nightlatch lever trim in bright brass. It's compatible with 98/99, 98/99XP, and 33A/35A series exit devices, and is commonly used in high-security environments like behavioral health and retail stores. All control inputs, auxiliary locking, local alarm, and remote signaling outputs are self-contained, making it easy to integrate with access control, fire prevention, and infant protection systems. It's designed to cover stock hollow metal doors with 86 or 161 cutouts, and is UL listed for panic exit hardware, meeting ANSI A156.3 2008 Grade 1 standards.
