The Ventile® shell jacket is crafted from 100% cotton and PFC-free Ventile® fabric, a material with a legacy rooted in legendary mountain expeditions, including the first ascent of Mount Everest. Ventile® is renowned for its extreme durability and its exceptional balance of breathability and weather protection. This high-quality fabric offers natural windproof and water-repellent properties, keeping you dry in light autumn showers or deep snow, while remaining soft and comfortable against the skin.

Specifically designed for dog mushing, the Ventile® shell jacket is reinforced with aramid fiber on the forearms and lower back, ensuring long-lasting protection against friction and wear. This makes it ideal when handling energetic dogs and sitting on the sled. The hood features three adjustment points and a foldable peak, providing you with optimal protection from wind and side-blowing snow, while being spacious enough to comfortably accommodate your headlamp.

To minimize sweat buildup during transitions between slow and intense activities, the PFC-free Ventile® fabric optimizes moisture transport and thermoregulation. The front one-way YKK zipper, protected by storm flaps, allows you to adjust airflow.

With adjustable cuffs, hips, and waist, the jacket ensures freedom of movement and enhanced comfort.  Four external chest and handwarmer zippered pockets, provide secure storage for quick-access items, while the internal zippered chest pocket and two open stuff pockets keep your essentials like batteries, phones, and salve warm.
