This Timken RCJT series cast iron flanged cartridge bearing unit is composed of a cast iron flanged housing equipped with two bolt holes for applications where mounting space is limited. Within the housing is a double rubber sealed single row ball bearing that has a wide, extended inner ring for providing additional support to the shaft and accommodating additional lubrication. The bearing locks to the shaft with an eccentric (asymmetric) self-locking collar that is secured with a setscrew. The housing has a stainless steel grease fitting for relubricating the bearing.
