They can be lag bolted, belted, or bungeed to trees and they have plenty of clearance for large-headed bolts. These boxes are also fully compatible with python cables (can be run through the box in a couple of different ways), which work great on public land where you cannot deface trees, and these boxes are lockable with ordinary padlocks as well for added security. Holes cut in the boxes allow for solar panel hookup to the trail camera (if one is available for your camera model) and they have a sound port added for cameras with sound recording ability. Once the box is secured to the tree the camera can be taken in or out without any repositioning or rerunning of test cycles - the camera will always point back to the same spot!
