The dual eyelets create a “pulley” effect to give you greater leverage so you can lace the brace tighter for a more effective “Ankle Lok”. Stainless steel spiral stays are sewn into the medial and lateral sides of the brace for support. The Ankle Lok’s removable side stabilizers offer additional support for weak or injured ankles. The full elastic back is comfortable against the Achilles tendon and helps reduce irritation and potential for blistering. Removable side stabilizer inserts are included to provide additional ankle support. The stabilizers may be placed in the medial and lateral pockets on each side of the brace. Heavy duty triple vinyl construction is extremely durable, provides correct ankle support and fits comfortably in most athletic shoes.
