Seeba Bubbly | Round

Inspired by the calm depths of the sea, Seeba pairs hand-carved alabaster with sculptural, heat-textured acrylic—bridging ancient tradition and modern design.

For centuries, alabaster was revered in ancient Egypt, used to craft vessels and sculptures built to last. Today, we honor that tradition by continuing its craftsmanship—each piece is hand-carved by artisans in Upper Egypt—while reimagining it in a modern form.

The base is shaped and heat-treated by us in our Stockholm workshop, giving it its flowing, octopus-like form.

When lit, Seeba emits a soft, ambient glow that reveals the alabaster’s smooth surface and delicate veining. The clear acrylic legs catch and carry the light, adding a subtle luminosity to the base.

Each piece is one of a kind—natural variations in hue, veining, and form make every lamp unique.

The Seeba lamp is delivered unassembled to ensure sustainable shipping in a compact package and protect its delicate materials. It can be easily assembled in just a few minutes.
