Qanvee Sponge Filter

Comprised of simple parts, the Qanvee Sponge Filter works perfectly with an aquarium air pump to prompt the flow of water through the sponge and filter chamber to keep your tank thoroughly cleansed.

The Qanvee Sponge Filter works by catching and trapping debris in the water column such as fish waste, uneaten food and plant matter ultimately allowing the filtered water to flow through the tube and back into the planted aquarium tank. The foam material of the Qanvee Sponge Filter is also the perfect breeding ground for beneficial bacteria and the entire unit is considered a form of mechanical and biological filtration for a planted aquarium tank.
