The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the entire length of the workpiece's thread by hand, without excessive force. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the required standards (i.e., it's defective). A reference temperature of 20° Celsius applies to both workpieces and gauges. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price available upon inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent metrology lab, following established standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI), using IAC-Gewindescanner.
