The Palm Abbe Glycerine & Propylene Glycol Refractometer is designed to provide the freezing point and percent concentration of both glycerine and propylene glycol antifreeze solutions. This instrument will test glycerine and propylene glycol percent concentration by volume and freezing point in degrees Fahrenheit. Just place a drop or two of glycerine (glycerol) or propylene glycol in the stainless-steel sample well and press a button. The custom-designed microprocessor delivers a nearly instantaneous readout of glycerine or propylene glycol concentration or freeze point. Nonlinear temperature compensation is automatic and ensures that fluids tested between 0 and 50 °C (+32 to 122 °F) are measured accurately. Glycerine or propylene glycol concentration and freeze point are easily read on the large dual-line LCD display, even in dim light. Digital readings remove the subjectivity associated with interpreting where a boundary line crosses tiny scale divisions. And, it is so easy to use!
