Meaning Brick, in Italian, the Mattone is SILCA's award winning seat bag powered by the Boa Closure System. With the Mattone Grande, Silca have now created a 'bigger brick' with .74L of internal volume almosn 2x the volume of the original Mattone (0.41L). The Mattone Grande is capable of holding up to 3 road tubes along with 2 CO2 cartridges, 2 tire levers and a multi-tool. Similar to the original Mattone, a high friction Hypalon strap with BOA® Closure completes the package. Making more than 15x the power of Velcro®, the BOA® Closure uses a ratcheting mechanism that will not creep or loosen even under the most extreme vibration and impact. This ensures the Mattone will remain ‘high and tight’ under your saddle until you need to access it... no swinging, swaying, or rattling... ever!
