These distinctive pods make excellent natural hideaways for a wide range of blackwater species and are especially well suited to Malaysian biotope aquariums.

Commonly found in and around the natural habitats of species such as Betta macrostoma, Buddha Nuts provide authentic shelter and structure that encourages natural behaviour, reduces stress, and supports breeding conditions. Their hard, woody texture ensures they last a long time in both aquatic and terrestrial environments, making them equally suitable for terrariums and bioactive setups.
