The aesthetics of this table runner remind of woven ikat textiles - a technique that values imprecision as part of the process and creates graphics with undefined outlines. Additionally, the unique inlay yarn technique gives this piece a woven-like optic. By combining knitting and weaving, the product has softness that is characteristic for knit, and stability similar to woven textiles.
