IB47081 100 Piece PCR/Gel DNA Fragment Extraction Columns and Collection Tubes Kit

IBI replacement Gel/PCR fragment extraction columns are designed to recover or concentrate DNA fragments (100bp-10kb) from an agarose gel, PCR, or other enzymatic reaction. These replacement columns and collection tubes are offered to allow the use of extra reagents left from completed kits. The IBI Gel/PCR column contains a glass fiber matrix, making it compatible with comparable DNA purification products on the market today. DNA purification kits utilizing a lysis method followed by DNA binding, washing, and subsequent elution of the DNA from the column are compatible with the IBI column and collection tubes. Protocols from the original complete kit (regardless of brand) may be used with these columns as well. The quality of the Gel/PCR DNA Fragment Extraction Columns and Collection Tubes are tested on a lot-to-lot basis by isolating DNA fragments of various sizes from either aqueous solutions or agarose gel. The purified DNA is checked by electrophoresis. Binding capacity: up to 10 microgram.
