Baked enamel finish for rust inhibition, phosphate pretreatment adds more durability. Telescoping ball bearing suspension delivers noticeably smooth drawer operation. Drawers accommodate letter or legal size binders side-by-side with included adjustable rails. Drawers are flush on the top and sides and feature aluminum recessed drawer pulls with a plastic label holder and drawer extension restriction. Mechanical interlocking allows only one drawer to be opened at a time. The Lateral File also offers four adjustable leveling glides for stabilizing; HON One Key interchangeable, removable core locks; and reinforced steel construction. The locking mechanism secures both sides of the drawers.
