To sprout, simply soak the seed mix immersed in water over night, and drain using a colander or sprouting trays or sprouting jars (see our other items for more info). Rinse the seeds twice over the next day. You don't want to let the sprouts grow long. Usually birds prefer sprouted seeds that are just beginning to show the tiny tails of the sprout just emerging from the seed. You can refrigerate extra sprouts to inhibit more growth and stay fresh.
