GarlicGuard

Seachem GarlicGuard is an all natural garlic scented odour and flavour enhancer for freshwater and saltwater fish. Research has shown that many fish are attracted to natural odours, such as garlic. Simply mix GarlicGuard with any food item, such as Seachem’s NutriDiet Flakes, to attract the interest of finicky eaters, e.g. discus and marine angelfish. Seachem GarlicGuard is safe for reef and planted aquariums.

Garlic can be of great assistance in controlling parasites. It has a history of being able to help eliminate parasites and control secondary fungal infections; detoxify and gently stimulate elimination. Garlic also has antioxidant properties to protect against oxidation caused by parasites' toxins.

Directions:
Shake well before use. Soak food in Seachem GarlicGuard before feeding. Safe for use with medicated foods (to attract the interest of finicky eaters to the medicated food). For example, for enhanced effectiveness against Ich and other parasites use Seachem’s Focus and MetroPlex as follows: Add 1 measure of MetroPlex to 1 measure of Focus per tablespoon of food. Completely soak this food mix in GarlicGuard, refrigerate, and feed once or twice daily for 1–2 weeks.
