By EXCEPTIONAL PRODUCTS the EP-FX400 is a dual-component adhesive applicator, also called a two-part or two-component applicator. The EP-FX400 can accommodate 400ml / 13.5 oz. dual cartridges in a 3:1 or 2:1 mix ratio, and has a thrust ratio of 24:1 for applying very high viscosity epoxies and other adhesives. The easy pull trigger advances the cartridges in small increments allowing for fine applications. The EP-FX400 is constructed of heavy gauge steel yet balances nicely for a comfortable work gun. The cartridges are inserted vertically allowing for easier use in tight or narrow working environments. Caulking guns, also called caulk or cartridge guns or dual dispenser, dispense a controlled flow of products such as caulk, sealants, and adhesives from a dual overhead cartridge. A manual caulking gun consists of a frame which holds the tube, a trigger, and a rod which moves forward when the trigger is depressed, dispensing the product. Manual caulking guns have a thrust ratio; the higher the thrust ratio, the easier it is to dispense the caulk, sealant, or adhesive.
