The ESCO Skirt Nut is a high quality flange nut that centers truck wheels to the hub. ESCO Skirt Nuts eliminate loose wheels, immediately stop wheel and hub vibrations, and instantly providing 25% more life on tires. ESCO Skirt Nuts properly align the wheel, allowing it to run concentric to the hub which prevents wasted fuel caused by rolling resistance or drag. Standard flange nuts only clamp against the disc surface which does not eliminate extra space between stud and stud holes. This space allows room for the stud to oscillate as the wheel revolves. This is the leading cause of torque loss, vibrations, clocking and wheel offs. Each skirt nut clamps against the disc surface, self-centers and eliminates extra 4mm space between stud and stud holes. This design eliminates wheel clocking or unwanted wheel movement on the studs. 10 skirt nuts per wheel is required.
