The handle and washer (scissor prevention plate) hold the fusuma core material in place and secure it with screws and attach. [Note] The back screws cannot be used on fusuma with cardboard, honeycomb, styrol, etc. Please purchase a handle that uses a scissor clasp. Since it is made of maple wood, the wood grain is virtually invisible when painted. The surface is painted twice but compared to metal products, the paint strength and age resistance is less durable. If you install it in a frequently used location or are concerned about durability, choose metal products. The screw holder (onyx eye) is embedded into the handle, but the effective depth is 0.4 inches (10 mm). Please check the thickness of the core material and the length of the screw as the screw may damage the handle.
