Enhance your aquarium with an assortment of Nerite Snails. These attractive snails not only add f exotic style, but also provide practical benefits. They scrub algae from glass, plants, and decorations, keep biofilm and bacterial blooms in check, and help maintain a clean substrate.

Nerite Snails are suitable for any aquarium, as they are safe with fish and shrimp and gentle in nature. As these snails require saltwater to reproduce, they are cannot overpopulate the tank like some freshwater varieties. Moreover, they only consume algae, and leftover detritus, leaving plants and other substrates untouched.

When caring for Nerite Snails, the water line in your tank should not be too high, as these snails have a tendency to go wandering. Keep your lid tight!

High nitrate levels are also not tolerated by these snails. Like all invertebrates, freshwater snails are very susceptible to copper, be mindful of copper levels in medication and some tap water.
