They are produced by fish urine, uneaten fish food, and dead and decaying plants and insects. The nitrifying bacteria within API’s Quick Start efficiently and effectively gets rid of this ammonia and nitrite build up, leaving behind an aquarium that breathes life and serenity.

Use the Dosing Cap provided with the bottle for accurate measurements.
Directions: Add 10ml to treat 10 U.S. gallons of water. Double this dosage for saltwater aquariums.
