Description: The Aba Aba Knife Fish is a large solitary predator from river basins in Africa, inhabiting marginal vegetation and swamps. This fish can be aggressive, so it should be paired with large tank mates. This fish does grow quite large in captivity, reaching 48 inches. Feed a variety of meaty, frozen foods and carnivore pellets. Make sure to have a lot of decorations and hiding places. The Aba Aba Knife Fish is sensitive since they are small scaled.
