Make sure the bleeder is clean and free of dirt and old hydraulic fluid.2. Remove the hydraulic fuel cap from the vehicle. If the old liquid is contaminated, vacuum it and fill the container with fresh liquid. Do not pump contaminated fluid into the hydraulic system.3. Firmly attach the vent cap to the vehicle tank and make sure the gasket is properly seated and not worn or worn.4. Pull the pump cover onto the empty bleeder and apply it to 10 psi (0.7 bar). Check the connection of the reservoir and vent hose for leaks. If the fuel cap or hose connection is leaking, carefully release the accumulated pressure in the vent reservoir by unscrewing the pump cap. Do not remove the cap until the vent reservoir has been depressurized. Reattach the vent tank cap or tighten the hose connection, pump the tank back to 10 psi (0.7 bar) and check for leakage.5. If no leaks are found, carefully unscrew the pump cover and fill in 1.25 litres of new hydraulic fluid from a sealed container. Use only the type of hydraulic fluid recommended for your vehicle.6. Tighten the pump cover and apply the bleeder to the recommended value in your vehicle's service manual. Do not exceed 28 psi (1.9 bar). Higher pressures can damage your vehicle's hydraulic system and lead to serious injury. Footprints7. Determine the correct bleeding sequence of the brakes from your vehicle's service manual. First, connect the vent pipe to the vent valve of the cylinder you want to bleed, with the open end stuck in a container of liquid. Operate the valve and bleed until the liquid flows freely and there are no upper bubbles. Tighten the bleed valve to the torque specified in your vehicle's service manual.8. Repeat the process for each vent valve. Pump additional pressure into the bleeder if necessary.9. If fluid remains in the bleed reservoir when you are done, tilt the tank away from the fluid intake pipe and open the drain valve closest to the brake master cylinder. Allow air to flow into the container until the liquid level drops to the maximum level of the container. Close the bleed valve and tighten it to the specified torque.10. When you're done, slowly loosen the pump cover to release the pressure. Remove the lid from the container and be careful not to spill any liquid from the hose.11. Reattach the container lid to the vehicle and check that the fluid level has reached the maximum level on the vehicle.12. Before driving the vehicle, carefully check it for leaks and check that the brakes are working properly.
